Crawford County Job & Family Services (CCJFS) is a county, state and federally supported quad-combined agency that develops and oversees programs and services designed to strengthen families and protect children and the elderly.
Crawford County’s Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA), Public Assistance (PA), Ohio Means Jobs - Crawford County, and Public Children Services Agency (PSCA) are all located in the Bucyrus office.
These four agencies work as one in an effort to help Crawford County residents maintain a healthy lifestyle, while obtaining and/or keeping employment and gaining independence through education, work experience programs, job skills and training. Other CCJFS programs help to ensure a safe and healthy environment for individuals and families who need assistance in meeting their basic needs due to temporary or permanent situations.
Many working families from Bucyrus and the surrounding communities of Galion, Crestline, New Washington, Tiro and North Robinson are struggling to make ends meet due to low-wage jobs, loss of a job or other unforeseen circumstances.
We are proud of the services we provide to the community through the efforts of a professional and dedicated staff with strong emphasis on workforce development and community involvement.
