Announcing a new Summer Job Program for 14 and 15 year olds! Ohio Youth Works is a summer jobs program that provides opportunities for low to medium-income youth age 14 & 15 to be placed at a summer job in order to gain valuable work experience while earning a paycheck. The program provides soft skill training and youth mentoring for a successful summer work experience. Crawford County has a NEW public transportation provider. Effective January 3rd, 2017, SCAT (Seneca-Crawford Area Transportation) will provide transportation for Crawford county residents. SCAT is a door-to-door, curb-to-curb transportation organization that provides local as well as out-of-county trips to the public of Seneca and Crawford Counties. Get Your High School Diploma or GED
Don't have a high school diploma? There are now several options to either obtain a high school diploma or GED in Crawford County.
1) Traditional GED classes: Held both in Bucyrus and Galion locations
2) 22+ Program: Were you just a little short on credits? Are you age 22 or older? You could earn your high school diploma through credit recovery.
3) Adult Diploma. If you are age 22 or older you may be able to earn a certificate in Welding or Nurses Aide and get your high school diploma at the same time. You don't have to leave Crawford County and it's free!
4) Do you need help getting re-enrolled in a high school program or need help staying in school? Our Crawford County Youth Program for 16-24 year olds can help!

Crawford County JFS - Children Services is looking for foster parents who are willing to provide a safe, predictable, caring family environment for a Crawford County child. The goal of foster care is to reunite children with their families once the problems that led to their removal have been corrected and a foster parent's role is to be a caregiver and nurturer. Foster parents are needed in all school districts in Crawford County and also licenses homes in adjoining counties. Training and 24/7 ongoing support is provided along with monthly payments.
