Child Care Assistance

Publicly Funded Child Carepaintingkid3.jpg

Parents who are working or in school can apply for help with the cost of child care.  You must choose a licensed child care center, school-age program, head start, home provider or a certified in-home aide provider in order to get help. The licensed provider can be in the county you live or where you work/go to school.  Depending on your income, you may have to pay for part of your child care, called a fee or co-payment. The amount you pay is based on your income, family size and how many children that you have in child care.   Lists of licensed child care providers available at our office.  Applications for publicly-funded child care are also available at our office or here.  Quality child care programs can also be found by calling our area Child Care Resource & Referral Agency (YWCA) at 855-548-9598.
